That wouldn't shock a lot of people. Russell is moving up the boards fast and many have him top 10 now. A good combine and he will be top 5.

I agree with this.  JR is just the type of athlete that Davis seems to go gaga for.  If he continues to impress in this game, and has a stellar combine, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Raiders take him.

Top 5 is one thing. #1 overall is a different animal altogether. The only way we have a chance at Russell is if Brohm declares. Both Russell and Brohm are light years ahead of Quinn.

At least, "bug eyes" Weis and his overrated ND squad are being exposed for what they truly are.

Which is why I made the post. Draft rating be damned! What Al wants, Al gets. He will draft a player #1 overall, even if they are not a top 10 athlete. We're talking about the same guy who drafted a kicker in the first round.

The game isn't over yet, and the Irish always seem to stay in games, so this might be a fun one to watch.

To me Quinn looks lost. He looks very tentative and is only proving his critics right by playing poorly (so far) against yet another good team. He had the TD pass but that was more on the secondary than it was a good throw by Quinn, it should have been picked.

It's amazing how Russell just flicks his wrist and the ball flys 60 yards.
