hahahahaha - we'll get a three page post from joe after that.  his knuckles will be so scraped from pouring over the internet for any snippet that refutes facts that he'll need to move to Canada and get indigent care, oops, i mean national healthcare...

LOL!  joe, there are others that take the time you do to comb the web over.  looks like cut and paste arguments will take the place of opinions.

Please refrain from posting silly things like this - next you'll be telling me people in Sweden are happier because they have nationalized healthcare and socialism has made the country into a model for paradise...

It take back everything I said. Canada is just like Mexico. Awful place to live. LOL.

That's basically what you guys are agreeing with.

Anybody with a brain knows that you don't compare living in Mexico to Canada. Right, Phist?

No need to write more than a few sentences on that and no need to cut and paste anything.
Use your brain and let your ego get out of the way.

Here's the brilliant words of pimpin again, in case you missed it.

Americans should go visit Mexico or Canada. I think they would return with a real idea of what bad is.

Note that he wasn't referring to healthcare.

I went to Canada, no one was home. They were all in Florida for the winter.

Let me rank the list of countries I've personally been to where the middle class' standard of living is higher than here.

France
Spain
Canada

USA

I would switch my middle class life with that of a citizen of France or Spain before they even got the words out of their mouth.

It's cool to love America, but if you think this place is the best.. kindly remove your head from your anal region, then reconsider your point of view.

Trust me, when those Canadians are home, it's just like Mexico. Really bad place to be.

LOL.

Anybody who says that hasn't been to the strip clubs in Hamilton. ON.

It's not even that. He was comparing living in the US to Mexico and Canada and saying how bad it was in those places.
Why do we even have to continue trying to argue that point?

Spain???

The middle class in Spain is tiny.

I'll give you Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and maybe Italy, but Spain???

Sorry but Spain trumps them all with their topless beaches. And my wife didn't mind that I "perused" the beach as I
was like a kid in a candy store.

And once again that's the mentality of what we're dealing with. That's the most repeated line on this site when somebody
points out that there are other great countries out there besides the US.

But stay away from Canada! LOL.

What's stopping you?

The magical ability to suddenly transform my citizenship, learn fluent spanish/french and whisk away all my friends and family so we're not continents apart.

Ottawa is beautiful. But in the summer, watch out. It gets really bad. Just like Mexico.

But be careful. If you praise another country too much, the peanut gang is going to ask you to leave.
You're not allowed to praise any country but the good old US of A.

Get a wiff of the American spirit and get a real job that has health care benefits. If I dont have something, I look for who does and go there. As an American I know that I could be laid off and my family will struggle and possibly lose my home and not be able to buy milk or diapers. I know that and constantly prepare for that to occur and make plans to prevent it. Thats the problem. Some people think their entitled to have a job , entitled to have help to make ends meet when in trouble. That isnt and shouldn't be the case.

You have to have a carrot to make people get off their arse and work. Health Benefits are the carrott, Money is the carrott.
