You don't know what you are talking about.   My previous post tells the true story.   I was originally for Obama.   And that's a fact.

I post alot of goofy things like he's a muslim devil and such only because I find it humorous.   I don't believe that.   It's very hard to tell when I'm joking or serious - even for me.   haha.

But in all seriousness, I wanted Obama originally because he would help my credibility with the Indonesians.  And that is where I live.   But this board changed my mind on that for the reasons I previously mentioned.

Total and complete biased BS. Just like the vast majority of McCain's campaign ads. America needs a makeover. A black man in the oval office is a good start. McCain would be 4 more years (if he lives that long) of just another old white guy. Doesn't the idea of Sarah Palin being the leader of the free world scare you into some rational and objective thought? 4 years ago America re-elected the President who now has the record for the lowest approval ratings ever. The world views us as a nation of idiots. Electing McCain would confirm that opinion.

We have the opportunity to, at the very least, improve our image in the eyes of the world. 8 years of a C average student have been disastrous. Obama was at the top of his class at Harvard. Our government and our deficient has never been bigger than it is right now under George Bush. Another old white guy is not the solution to our problems. Obama is at least a step in the right direction. Health care, education, and the environment, will no longer be the red-headed stepchild. Bush has ignored these issues as long as he possibly can.

I am old enough to remember when racism was not only condoned but the law of the land. I also know there are people in this country who long for those days. We all have our prejudices in one form or another. I hope to see racial and political prejudice set aside this Tuesday in the best interests of our country. If the situation was reversed and Collin Powell was the candidate, he would get my vote. He is one of a very small number who puts his country ahead of his political party.

It indicates to the world that we know Bush was a monumental mistake and Americans truly want to correct it. People that don't know anything about American politics will instantly recognize that there is something different going on here when a white majority opt for a black man to lead them. They will become curious and want to know more about us. The fear and hatred Bush has generated around the world will be tempered by a change that is obvious to anyone that can see. It is the best public relations move possible and I can't wait to see it happen. I'm tired of being embarrassed by our Presidents. I don't like being ashamed of our leadership. I am proud of Obama and everything he has worked so hard to accomplish. I want to be proud of the people of this country for overcoming racial prejudice and voting a black man into the highest office in the land. George Wallace (Governor of Alabama) will be spinning in his grave. Wallace was elected to office by proudly proclaiming to be a racist. The KKK was his biggest supporter and I'm sure he was a member and a leader as well. Times have changed. A black President would be a great indicator of just how much. This country needs a man who can be admired and respected for what he has done on his own. John McCain (like George W. Bush) rode the coattails of his father. At this point he is just another really old white guy who craves power. His choice for VP makes me question his judgment and the idea of Sarah Palin as President scares me to death. I don't want to spend the next 4 years wondering if our President is senile and worrying about his health.

When the next President takes the oath of office, I will be 66 years old. I don't ever want to see someone older than me sworn in. One of my many prejudices is ageism.

The fact Obama even has a chance to win this thing is absolutely disgusting and a indication that America is truely on the decline as a world power. We got the socialism. All we need now is a little fear and propaganda from the government and we have our fascism.
