He's about as valuable to the team as Jeremiah Trotter was last year.

People need to face it.

Michael Bennett really just isn't that good.
Yep, been saying this for some time now.

Did you not see his run early in the game where he froze like a deer in the headlights.

Why do you necessarily have to be wrong just because a few million people think you are?

I dont care what the team spin on this is, this game said it all.  In a game where Dunn is inactive and Graham coughed up 2 big fumbles, an undrafted rookie kick returner is on the field getting touches in crunch time while Bennett is plucking splinters out of his back side.

Could it be Clifton Smith > Michael Bennett? Remember, these same Chiefs gave him away for a 6th round pick.

apparently so.  but what the hell happened to this guy?  he is in his late twenties and he has a 1,000 yard season and pro bowl on his resume, not to mention world class speed.  he looked good in limited oppotunties last year and the team spin was the only thing holding back was playbook knowledge.  we re-signed him and he spent a full offseason in our system, which should've taken care of any playbook issues. he played well in the preseason too.  Now the guy is buried on the depth chart.

Hey, I don't give a crap if he plays one more down. I'm not one of the guys who has been begging for him
to get some PT. I'm just asking if he missed a play today.

If today is any criteria, Bennett may have just lost his job and allowed an easy opportunity for Carnell to return.

I think you just answered your own question - "should've" being the key phrase.

Bennett may stink. But it's kind of hard for us to judge him on a few carries. I think he would be like any other
RB where he needs a lot of carries to get into a rhythm.

Did he miss a play call?

i dont see how his lack of PT is related to talent or the playbook.

I'm not getting why is he on the roster.  Work him into the rotation, or let him go.  Heck he's been inactive now for what a year and a half?  Don't see him being another Graham-type story.  I don't get it

Well, since none of us see him in practice and we haven't seen too much of him on  game day, I don't know
how any of us can give an educated opinion on his talent level or knowledge of the playbook. I know it was
a problem last year. Is it a problem this year? Did he miss a play today? If so, then it's inexcusable at
this point. If not, then you're speculating.
