Vikings keys:

1. Stifle the run - Bucs have struggled to run with injuries to Graham, Dunn and Askew; all could be available Sunday; Vikings 3rd-ranked rushing defense must keep those guys from regaining confidence
2. Bring pressure - MIN has 15 sacks in their last 3 home games; a lot of that could be due to crowd noise in the Metrodome; three sacks in last three road games and have gone 1-2
3. Keep the offense going - Vikings are developing a potent offense; in past five games, 16 TDs is tied for first during that period and 10 passing TDs is also tied for first

Bucs keys:

1. Rally in the red zone - Been discussed ad nauseum; one way to improve is take more chances and throw in the end zone more often
2. Rediscover the run - In their past three games combined, have averaged fewer than 3 yards per carry; Askew's return will help, but says Bucs also need to throw deep more to keep everybody out of the box
3. Force Gus Frerotte's hand - Frerotte is a QB "just good enough to get you beat"; makes some nice plays, but tends to make more critical mistakes; if the Bucs can get a lead they can put the game in Frerotte's hands

I'm expecting another nail biter unless our d-line is winning the battle in the trenches regularly.

"The reality is we came in with a bad salary cap situation and we left with some $50 million under the cap, so it's not like we went out and spent a lot of money on players." JG
