There's a rumor going around that we are 7-3.  Can anyone confirm that for me?

CHECK!
bruce allen told me we were 7-3 as well. and he's sorry for the bennett cut. he hopes antonio bryant will over shadow that terrible mark on his record for being such a terrible GM bringing in useless free agents

nice job Brucie.

when will people realize that bruce allen and jon gruden are not dictators? every move is made in consultation with scouts, position coaches, coordinators, and, when necessary, the head coach....the reason the bucs have a harmonious front office is because multiple perspectives are taken into account.....when bennett was cut, do you think bruce just walked into gruden or bisaccia's office and said, "we dropped one of your RBs, time for you to work caddy in, health be damned."?

no - bruce hears out the guys who work most closely with the players - position coaches and coordinators - and makes a decision on who to drop and who to sign based on the input he gets. CONSENSUS, folks, this is not Oakland, and you've never heard any coach, no matter how disgruntled, even imply that a move was made on the personnel side that was done without consultation. not to say everyone gets what they want, but there's no evidence that coaches are ignored. even in well-run front offices you'll hear about a signing or draft pick where a GM or owner pulled rank....never heard anything like that with the bucs.

they hit or miss as an organization, and i'm betting that with the credentials that our staff and front office hold, that their reasoning on bennett was pretty sound.
STOP MAKING SENSE.

Think maybe we might have done it once with Bo Jackson  Old Hugh wanted him. Drafted him, Jackson told him no before the draft and he never came here.
