PewterReport.com is reporting that Bucs safety Jermaine Phillips (forearm) and tight end Alex Smith (ankle) returned to practice on Wednesday in a limited role. Quarterback Brian Griese (elbow) was not out on the practice field in the time the media was allowed to watch.

We will have more on this story later today.

I'm amazed... especially with Flip.  Wonder if he'll be ready to start in Detroit?

Smith will help our RZ offense + Flip is awesome. Nice to hear after all the doom and gloom after Graham's injury.

I wouldn't mind Phillips sitting out another week at all. We should be able to handle Detroit just fine with Sabby.

And with the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Teddy Bridgewater, Quarterback, Louisville.

Has anyone seen Flip?  Is he wearing a hard cast?  I love him to death but the man never wraps up....hopefully if he is goign to play with a cast he can still wrap up.

If he does come back I will be extremely pleased.  He is going to be fresh for the final stretch and Sabby got some very valuable game experience.

Also, during the vikings game, it was at the end of a quarter when Sabby laid a pretty good hit on Taylor...anyone happen to have a clip?  They never showed the replay on tv.
