BCS Selection Procedures:

Automatic Qualifications-

#4.  Notre Dame will have an automatic berth if it is in the top eight of the final BCS Standings. 

This is actually in the rulebook friends!!  Forget the other three independent teams that are Navy, Army, or Western Kentucky!  By the way, Navy leads the four independent teams this season so I guess they should get an automatic berth into the BCS!  And by the way, everbody knows regardless of who they play, if Notre Dame goes 9-1 or 8-2, they are going to be ranked in the top eight because, "hey, they're Notre Dame, right?"

What a complete joke and pathetic system this is!  There is absolutely NO reason why the rest of college football cannot follow suit as the other divisions do and have a 16 team playoff.  The only reason there isn't one is due to tradition and greed; it's worse than the modern church!  And that's saying something!!

Think about how awesome a 16 team playoff would be.  Then there would be no discrepency about WHO the champion is.  The NCAA should find a way to make this happen!  If it works in evey other division, then we know it will work here too! 
The big schools are too scared to allow this to happen since it will keep there #2 & #3 conference teams from participating in big money games.

LEAVE IT TO GREED TO RUIN SUCH A GREAT THING!!  THE SINGLE BIGGEST REASON WHY COLLEGE FOOTBALL SUCKS!  Who cares how competitive the games are if at the end of the day you don't have a true winner?  It's like a tie....

Yeah but how often are they going to be in the top eight when they get beat by Syracuse and next years USC recruiting class.  Notre Dame is such a pathetic waste and they have been irrelevant for years.  They could hire Bellichek and they would still SUCK.

The BCS is a joke as it is a bunch of computer geeks putting numbers into a system and coaches with motives.  How do you determine what 2 teams play if you have 5 that have one loss?

The odds of the BCS picking the top 2 teams for the championship game out of 16 teams is worse than the odds of me winning the lottery.

Actually the tools are the people that make clauses for ONE team?! 

They won championships in the past based upon undefeated regular seasons and tradition.  In fact, some national champions from the past actually LOST their final bowl games, but were still awarded the trophy based upon the regular season wins!?

GREAT TRADITION COLLEGE FOOTBALL HAS!  Why don't we just hand out the trophy before they actually play any games.

College Football is a complete joke and should be taken just about as serious as a 9pm David Copperfield special.
