Cover of Greg Lake's "I Believe in Father Christmas"

Not bad.  Can't wait for the "real" new stuff to hit the air waves.

No offense man, but I HATE U2...

The thought of being bombarded by the media for their new release gags me...

Can you say OVER-RATED?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Turbo, you know your music when it comes to Kiss.   But you obviously don't know what you're talking about when it comes to U2.   Their old stuff from the early 80's is awesome.   Some of their new stuff is good too.

Any band that thinks they're the greatest in the world = not the greatest lol.

Some of their 80s/90s stuff was alright.. most of it's forgettable.

I'm not sure how any band that has had the longevity and the ability to recreate themselves and continue to have the wide spread success that U2 has had can be considered "over-rated", but to each their own.

Proably the greatest band ever, definitely in my opinion, but I'll leave it open for debate due to different tastes for different folks.  Definitely not over-rated though ... that's just HATERADE!

Can you tell me who had better stuff in the 80s/90s?

I can tell you what I consider to be better but I'm sure it wont appeal to everyone.

Not saying U2 is bad, I love some of their songs. Most of it is forgettable IMO though and they're definitely not as quality as Bono/U2 make it seem.

U2 is horrible....most overrated next to Kiss and the Grateful Dead.

No I missed it.  Was pretty ticked off that I did too.  Hope that it makes it's way around again at some point, but I don't know.

do tell

Their "rock stars", entertainers.  They put out the music, put on the performances.  They don't "make it seem"  the hundreds or thousands of people that fill arenas/stadiums to see them and have done so for three decades "make it seem"

Never heard them call themselves the greatest in the world.  They have had years when they were the biggest sellers in the world but that is about it.  They are one of the few bands to reach global superstar status in the last couple of decades.  In fact we have very few "super groups" these days compared to the 60s and 70s.

I wasn't into their music when they were at their peak and it was rammed down our throats.  Looking back at the stuff on their best-of albums they made some awesome music.
