No doubt. Florio is on top of his sh*t.
Yep, some discredit PFT, but they are a damn good site for all teams.

I'm not sure what to think about this. I know for sure that Vick won't be in the plans now, all of Petrino's QB's are 6'3 and accurate passers. Schuab is the man now IMO.

People the falcons can't trade Vick because his cap hit would be $29.6-million. The Falcons are stuck with Vick for atleast the next 2 seasons unless they do a major restructure of his contract which I doubt he will agree too.

Atlanta fans are pissed, they wanted a OC or a DC coordinator from a current Nfl team.

Blank and McKay what a combination they have up there..   [banghead]

Another Saban in the works..

Bucs-Lightning already World Champions. Rays Next!!!

Glad to know the Falcons won't be getting anywhere anytime soon. If Vick can't be successful in what is arguably the most passer friendly system in the West Coast offense, I don't see how he's gonna be successful with Petrino as Coach.

I was really pissed that the Falcons fired Jimmy Mora - Jimmy was my boy. But in reality, Jim Mora Jr. is a great coach that knows how to navigate his "win-now"-built loaded with superbowl talent and middle school intellect superbly through a promising first half of the season, culminating with Michael Vick having 2 consecutive good passing games. This generally induces ESPN bobble-heads to proclaim that Michael Vick has finally become the revolutionary QB that they've all envisioned. At this point, the team proceeds to lose 80% of their remaining games and Vick retrieves to his true passing ability.

That said, I can't be too upset about the Petrino hire. He's much less scary as a coach than Ken Whisenhunt or Ron Rivera or even Cam Cameron (I know the spelling's wrong in each of the names & I don't care).

No possible way this guy will be half as entertaining as Jr.

PFT says that the Falcons are hiring Hue Jackson to be the OC. He was the Bengals WR coach, but prior to that was the OC for the Ole Ball Coach (Spurrier) in DC. I don't know if the latter is good or bad. He was one of the few that left with his rep intact.

It would be very difficult to move Vick but you never know. They could move him to WR/RB although he would never agree to that.
