Ellias...how so?  If the Cardinals go 10-6 AND if the Vikings go 11-5, we would be the #2 seed?

Yeah you're right...I didn't alter Minn and 'Zona's games.

The Atlanta game is critical for a chance at a bye. If we win, and take care of business at home - Carolina will have to win 3 games in a row against teams with winning records, two of which will be on the road to win the division. If they do that, I will tip my hats to them.

we can't afford to lose to Atlanta.

Even with just three games to go, there is actually a scenario where Bucs, Falcons, and Panthers all three make the playoffs. Remember when everyone was talking about the NFC East with three teams getting in?

If Falcons win out.
Bucs lose to Falcons.
Panthers lose to Denver and NYG (and could lose to NO, and still make it in).

We can clinch playoffs this week with a win and a Dallas loss.

this news will help our cause.   We want Minnesota to defeat Atlanta and NY Giants,   and we want New Orleans to defeat Carolina.   Good news for the Bucs.

Not true...   Dallas is 8-5  and Bucs are 9-4.   if we finish with the same record, Dallas gets in.  Besides, we want the Division, and we need Carolina and Atlanta losses to make that happen.

NFL.com even says it. If we win this weekend and Dallas loses to the Giants we clinch a playoff spot.

I am not saying we'd get in over Dallas...just saying we'd atleast get the 6th seed.

Of course we want the #2 seed, which is still realistically in reach, but if the Bucs win and Dallas loses;

Bucs would have tiebreaker over Atlanta, Chicago, and Saints.

Eagles still have to play Washington and Dallas; so they will beat up on each other.

The #1 offense goes down . . . defense wins championships.
