A) Thomas
B) Calvin (my head says Jamaal Anderson or Gaines Adams, but I think Calvin is too good to pass on)
C) Russell
D) Thomas

But I'm interested in scenario C: with Cleveland - a likely QB selector - behind us, I've got to believe the trade offers would come flying in.

I again am going to make the argument again that I don't think there is anyway the Lions go QB. Mike Martz won a championship with an undrafted QB, and a LT drafted first overall. Rod Marinelli won a championship with a QB drafted in the 12th round and D-Line loaded with early first rounders. They will pick a lineman, most likely Joe Thomas, who is clearly the best lineman in the draft.

The Raiders are a wild card. They almost always pick who you don't expect them to. Still I think Russell is a fair assumption to make, especially if they bring in Denny Green, or if they keep Moss.

I would peg the Browns as most likely to draft Quinn with Charley Weiss connection.

This is how I see the top 4 going even if you switch us with the Browns.

Raiders: Russell
Lioins:   Thomas
Browns: Quinn
Bucs:     Johnson

I agree with BucsPirate on Detroit - it's Millen's show and nothing like a big-splash at QB to calm the lynch-mob, but I get the sense that neither Marinelli or Martz would really care for a QB taken so high. Unfortunately, I see them taking Thomas, assuming under a best player available and need rationale.

If we pick Johnson, we'd better have done something in FA to address the trenches, or we'll be picking #3-4 again in 2008..
