Puts it in perspective, doesn't it? For some reason, the scouting staffs at Oakland and Tampa Bay can't pick offensive talent.

It's "by design".

If he drafts GREAT players, then the players get the credit.

He's such a GREAT COACH, he wants to prove to everyone that he can draft Joe-the-Plummer (or sign Jake-the-Plummer) and *dazzle* the whole NFL with his 'Geniusness'.

That is a worrisome list, but it is also filled mainly with 6th and 7th round picks.

I think you guys are very unfair.  Caddy's jock from his first three games and Chris Simms's spleen are in the HoF.

There is plenty of documentation that Gruden wanted Brian Westbrook instead of Travis Stephens and got shot down. JF has also stated numerous times that he is NOT calling all the shots under Allen. You really think Gruden would have left himself with this little offensive talent and all that cap space were it HIS choice?
That's ludicrous to think so. And yet you want to pin all these inept drafts on him. Whatever. Believe what you want to believe. No degree of truth will change your minds apparently.

Dude go ahead and show the list of players that McKay/Dungy drafted--not Wyche or any of the older regime.. I'll give you Dunn.

What does that have to do with anything?  Who cares about Dungy, he wasn't very good and he is GONE.

Concentrate on the current coach and the quality of the product on the filed or lack thereof.....its the only thing that matters.

The list didn't exactly concentrate on that, did it? What relevance does Oakland's choices have to Gruden in Tampa Bay now? ZERO. So you're playing both sides of the fence.

10 picks in the 3rd round and under out of 28 ( I think)
One was OROY (Injuries broke what could have been)
Clayton had a great first season (Then he realized he had money and didn't have to play hard)
Ritchie played for two teams that got (didn't win) to the Super Bowl before his career was ended by an injury

I'm just saying it's not like he had prime picks and when he did he made some moves that really could have played out differently.
Then look at the non-skill players. Look at our O-Line. Look at the defensive picks.
He's not the worst at drafting is all I'm saying
