Well, if he is what about him as the teams defensive backs coach / assistant head coach, then Joe Barry as the linebackers coach they both are familiar with the system

I would look for a DC job instead if I were him. He's been a HC for a long time. No need to accept a position coach job.

Former Lions defensive coordinator Joe Barry was supposed to become the Seahawks' linebackers coach, but apparently he changed his mind at the last minute.  He now will visit Tampa Bay, as the Bucs need a new linebackers coach.  The Bucs' old one actually went to Seattle to become the Seahawks' defensive coordinator, creating the opening for someone like Barry to fill.

and the Seahawks have a LBer coach according to Tim Ruskell: WARNING....this guy doesn't like paragraphs.
