He had a very similar resume to Raheem before getting his head coaching job. This was the only reason difference:

"The 2006 Vikings finished with the NFL's eighth-best overall defense, but had the unusual distinction of finishing as the top-ranked defense against the run, and the worst-ranked defense against the pass."

The ONLY other coach I would have rather have had would be Mike Shanahan. Would not have been cheap, and may or may not have wanted to come here.

We just need to get Tomlin an exceptional offensive coordinator and rip the offensive coach staff to shreds...

And he's taken them and run them into the ground right?

I'm not saying that Raheem is going to do anything at all... but we really do have some of the worste fans in the NFL. He's a great coach and he doesn't even get a chance. Let's have a season. Then cry that the sky is falling!
