Gladiator is such a bad ass movie.   It's tough to compete with that.

300 doesn't even come close IMO.

Gladiator had much better character development, much better storyline.

300 and Gladiator are made in completely different ways, and I could not begin to compare the two fairly.  They are not made the same, and the combat scenes were brutal.

Gladiator was more chaotic in its fight scenes.  They were intense, but not the same.  Both got you geeked up, but were not the same.

I can't wait to buy 300 on DVD, turn on the surround, flip on the flat, and crank it.

I watched 300 today.    It was ok.   But I don't think I'd even rate is as a top 1000 movie of all time.

I pretty much agree, but 1000 is a lot of movies.

Finally saw it tonight and thought it was a freakin awesome movie, but it could've used a better ending.
