I'm sure those are real.

And for every one of those quotes there are three hailing his coaching ability.

Every one has their doughters

Does anyone know the real reason why Morris left the college ranks after 1 year and came scampering back to the Bucs?

Honestly?  He probably got a call from the Glazers stating that he'd be the DC in waiting if he came back.

Buccaneers DB Coach is a better job than Kansas State Defensive Coordinator.

I defended Jon and I'll defend Raheem.
One season isn't really what I'm worried about. In fact, compare these two possible scenarios: 9-7, 7-9 vs. 5-11, 10-6.
In scenario 1, you win more games. But with the regression of record, the media begins to come down on Raheem making Year 3 make or break. Maybe in scenario 1 injuries cost you a few wins. Maybe some guys regress. But we wind up on the rollercoaster again.
In scenario 2, you take your lumps in year 1. But you draft well (hopefully TWICE) and by the end of year 2 have become a powerhouse built on good young talent. By year 3, you're looking at playoff wins and a good 5-7 year run.
So let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm sure Raheem will make some mistakes along the way. But cohesion and progress will tell the final tale.

In Verner We Trust

I think it was reported at the time that Morris was "let go" at Kansas St...thus allowing the reunion with TB...
