Adrian Peterson injury great news for us

Lets face it we are gonan be picking high in the draft,

so its good news that a top 5 guy, who plays a position we dont need, is almost certainly gonna go to the NFL now after his season ending injury.

Just means another top prospect will be up for grabs, hopefully Cal Johnson, but i dont think we will be picking top 5 by seasons end

its never good news that a top back gets hurt.... actually it could come to hurt us, because if we have a top 5 pick and people are uncertain about his health or he decides to stay because of the injury then a team infront could probably take our target. We arent going to take Adrian so itd be nice if he gets drafted before we pick.

peterson's stock wont fall.  if willis mcgahee and antonio cromartie can be 1st rd picks after serious knee injuries, peterson stock wont plummet with a shoulder injury.  he's a top 5 pick.

My guess is that if he comes out this year, he will slip out of the top 5.  That means someone picking above us will have one less option.  This is not good news for the Bucs.

Hasn't he had a few injuries in college?  He broke the collar bone going to the ground unchallenged, he must have brittle bone syndrome.......his stock is dropping as we type.

not really, hes had minor injuries, but for the amount of carries he gets is expected. I doubt he drops out of the top 8 if he comes out this year.

8th is a massive drop for a kid that was projected a sure fire lock for a number one pick in his freshman season.
