I didn't see this posted so here it is.

New Bucs GM Mark Dominik wouldn't commit Tuesday to trying to re-sign impending free agent Jeff Garcia.
"It's going to have a lot to do with...who the (offensive) coordinator is," Dominik said. No matter who's running the offense, re-signing Garcia is unlikely to be a priority. It's time for Tampa to move on from the twinkle toed 39-year-old.

As it should be. With a new system and OC there no need to bring a retread like Garcia or even McCown.

If we can't land a decent QB via free agency, I think we should go with McCown. I don't see him as a re-tread. Gruden likes his old veteren QB's, does not have patience to develop a young guy.

I'm getting very nervous that we could end up with Cullen Harper.

I suppose I could suspend my disbelief by blaming his short comings on Tommy Bowden.

DYK, we have a college football forum... http://www.pewterreport.com/forum/index.php?board=5.0

That's why Olson as OC is not a good idea...

I think if the sentiment within the higher ups is that McCown should be the guy or that Garcia shouldn't be the guy then Olson has no shot. That really is one interview I don't understand and I hope it's a cursory talk for him to use in the future.

Happy and Peppy and Bursting with love.

Garcia's gone - he won't be a Buccaneer in the 09 season

Have Graham run the wildcat.

Seriously, the fact that we are in the this sorry QB position in the first place should give no one pause why Allen isn't here.
