I never got a chance to see him play. Missed almost all pre season. I new he had problems catching, but if it was that bad, I guess that says it all. Thats one thing Mike's been good at.

That's one thing that Mike used to be good at. I think he's been a terrible pass catcher these last couple of years. Sure...some passes his way have been a bit off target. But...I seem to recall a pass even bouncing off of his shoulder pad earlier this season. He seems to have lost ALL flexibility. (Not that he had a ton to begin with...)

Very true... shoulda worded that differently.

Ouch. I'm chalking that one up to overdosing on hormones and hoping that pure aggression shows on the field next year (though for my money I would've kept him over Sowell.)

Big, no more juice, and slow.

He is washed up, IMO.

Is there a difference?

Of course, washed up implies he was something, dried out implies he was juice only.

Washed up means that he had the skills to make an NFL squad, and now has nothing, IMO.

I don't know too much about how much roiding he did, so I cannot make a fair statement on how it affected his play.  But for all the nicknames, and hype he was getting, I would have assumed he was the second coming of Lo Neal or something...
