Has anyone tried this device for a Weber kettle grill?  Does it do as promised or is it just another sounds better then it works?

I am thinking of ordering one as my interest in smoking foods is growing and I am looking for a solution that is effective and also cheap.

Any other products that are under $300 that are real effective?

the less the technology... the better the food. i've been smoking stuff for about 5 years now (no longer now that i'm in nyc). i had a smoker similar to yours and with that pan your able to make your own bbq sauce as well, just add a little o.j. it's worth it. don't spend over 150-200$
