Jags has gotten a lot out of teams with far less talent then their opposition.  That's what I liked the most about both him and the Gailey of this last year in KC (although not in his previous decade of experience).  I really like this acquisition - my only worry is that if he does well we might lose him to a head coaching opportunity.

The Bucs have named former Boston College head coach Jeff Jagodzinski as the team's offensive coordinator. Jagodzinski was fired from his Boston College post for interviewing with the New York Jets earlier this month.

Jagodzinski has NFL experience, coaching Green Bay's tight ends in 1999 under Ray Rhodes. He coached with the Packers until 2003 when he became Atlanta's offensive line coach where he studied the zone blocking concepts from Alex Gibbs, a noted NFL offensive line guru.

In 2006, Jagodzinski was hired by Mike McCarthy to replace Tom Rossley as the Packers offensive coordinator. That was the only year Jagodzinski served as an NFL offensive coordinator. In 2007, he became the Boston College head coach, replacing Tom O'Brien, and coached the likes of QB Matt Ryan, OT Gosder Cherilus and DTs B.J. Raji and Ron Brace.

Inexperienced GM,HC, and now OC... I was hoping for a experienced OC,  That way the experienced OC/DC would help out the the rookie GM/HC.  I don't know what to think now.  I hope for the best I guess.

sounds like he'll bring a new look to Tampa's offense. IDK why but I have a good feeling about this hire.

He OC'd at Green Bay in 2006 and was the HC at Boston College in '07-'08.  How is that "not experienced"???

I am hoping he can turn some young QB into another Matt Ryan.

People are just trying to find negative things about this team it seems lately. Give it up, Gruden is gone and the Bucs are still here.

Boston College was at the top of their conference while he was there and he has NFL experience. I like that he's a young guy as well with fresh ideas. An added bonus, he'll know how to plan against Matt Ryan. I am again encouraged with this hire at a critical position.

That was actually my second thought, he'll be able to get our scout team ready against Matt Ryan.

I was interested in him initially when I heard BC fired him for interviewing with the Jets... For some reason I didn't think he'd come here though...

Yea , Well I was just trying to look up on the net how he did with his last OC job at the NFL level.  I'm still looking. I'll let you know how his play calling was at this level when I find it.  You guys hatred for Gruden has blinded your logic..   The top 3 of 4 positions are all inexperienced. Get it man.

He OC'd at GB ? really. How did his Offense finish.  You all used to give Gruden's stats... How bout it.    Boston college and Pittsburg Steelers are kinda different levels, dont ya think?

He OC'ed at BC, he was a position coach at GB, Atlanta, and rejoined GB again, then was HC for BC. Yes, he has experience. Not enough for some, I'd imagine.
