Since we're more than likely not going to be running a west coast offense, i wouldn't mind having him come back and compete for a roster spot. If the system is relatively easy to understand, and we're more of a down the field type team both the bucs and Simms could benefit from it.

We all used to say how potentially good Chris Simms would be if he didn't play in the WCO......

He has a cannon

He really has more of a musket with how slow his release is.

Was just flipping through channels and the lady who fills in for Chip on Fox said there are some inside grumblings that Chris Simms wants to talk to Morris about maybe coming back....there is no story on their site but I just saw it....I hope its not true or doesn't happen...Simms just seems like damaged goods...and I didn't like his crying...regardless of the situation

That's all they really said...they interviewed Phil Simms...he basically said whatever happens, happens.

He's trying to make it seem like since the evil Gruden left that now he wants to make his glorious return to Tampa.

Sorry Chris. You had your chance... time to be the #3 somewhere else brother

You know whats funny! He  may be the best FA QB out there right now. but it's not up to us its up to Morris and Dominik. Whatever happens happens

I'd rather take my chances with Grossman, Boller, McCown, Anderson, or Johnson..than with Simms

it was nice to bring back the old Dunn28 jersey...it won't be nice to see "Simms" on the back of a Bucs jersey again...unless Phil had another son who can actually hack it in the NFL that I don't know about.
