Out of any guy who was supposedly "wrong'd" by gruden, this guy has the most real and legit case.

I think the kid may be able to be a player in the right system, I dont care what he's done before because it was truely a screwed up situation.  For a one year deal, he's as good as any other guy we could bring to camp ie boller or alex smith.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??  I will never, and I mean never, forget how bad that guy was.  I seriously believe that I could have played better at the position than him........I'm 5'7".  That would be like Sproles lining up under center, yet somehow I believe he would do better than Simms.

Gruden worked with him, stayed with him...after he gets hurt they resign him to a new deal...What is the beef with Gruden for Simms?  The coach was too hard on him?  Gruden was too mean?  I find  Simms and all of his excuses so tiring...Guys, he sucked in college as well!  Get over it!  You want a whiner like this on our team?

No we don't need him he is to big of a risk.

Risk?! What? Risk would imply

1) That a lot of resources be put into him
and
2) That you would be hoping for a lot of production from him, with the potential for poor production.

Can anyone argue that both points are already determined? You would not have to pay him much, and you can be sure of what you are getting: crappy QB play. There is no risk, it is just a dumb move.


and to Java: If I was Simms, I would not come anywhere near Tampa out of fear that you would kidnap him make a human skin suit out of his flesh.
