Clip from MSNBC...

As RP shares his opinion, you'll notice some snickering every now and then from MSNBC anchor and Obama fan, Mika Brzezinski. She's the daughter of foreign policy heavyweight, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who advised Obama on foreign policy matters during the campaign. And he may still be working behind the scenes.

As the thread title says, if you didn't vote for Ron Paul (In the primaries or GE) and voted for McCain or Obama instead, you really need to quit your whining about politics as usual. I am not a fan of the two party system and I was pissed that he didn't run as an indie, but I couldn't bring myself to vote for anybody but Ron Paul. When it comes to the economy, he gets it.

The latest from Ron Paul, direct from his ofice...

nobody wants to hear the hard truth on how to deal with the economic crisis, ie: liqudate debt and get rid of the mal investments.  They just want the govt. to do something.  But as RP points out defeceit spending is like pouring kerosene on the fire.

Like I've said before, you can't fight the mob. If 97% of the voting population is committed to one of the 2 parties, your vote is meaningless if you go to a 3rd party.

Ultimately, no one was going to beat Obama anyway. People were acting like he was some kind of god. They cheered when he sneezed. They fainted at his rallies. I knew people who were voting for Obama and had absolutely no idea what he supports or what experience he had. People thought this was a guy that would work miracles. That the world will suddenly become peaceful. That people won't have to worry about their mortgages or the jobs anymore.

Now only 3 weeks in and people are starting to wake up from this fantasy and are realizing that this guy is just a normal human being, a normal run of the mill politician.

Exactly. He put the blame on both parties, equally. The out-of-control, spending over the past eight years is there for all to see. And now it continues...

It's still early for Obama so only a fool would try to say too much after a few weeks out of 208. There has definitely been some change. But, the big change we need now (IMO) is on spending. And Obama didn't run on a platform that promised reduced spending. So nobody should be surprised that he's pushing this bill. Like I said, if you wanted true fiscal change, you wouldn't have voted for Mac or Obama. You would have written in Ron Paul.

Not not enough Amercians are able to fight the manipulation of the msm and they always vote for the R or D. What's it going to take for that to change? You might see it in the next few years. If you find yourself saying, "A vote for Ron Paul or any of the other alternatives was a wasted vote," then you have been manipulated and might not even realize it.

A vote for Obama or McCain was a wasted vote, so far. IMO.

OBF has earned the right to whine a little with his Constitution Party vote.

Hey, maybe Ron Paul and Peter Schiff and all of the others are wrong?

Obama is putting together the best team? What kind of team? We got a White House full of tax cheats. How the hell do you call that "the best team?"

For those who are fans of Peter Schiff, just remember, some of his picks have TANKED this year. If the rest of his recent predictions don't come true, then a lot of his clients will have lost money. His longer term predictions over the past few years have been great. If you listened to him and didn't buy a house when the market was about to crash, that alone saved you a lot of money. His gold and silver picks before the prices started to rise were great too.
