Roy Cummings, of The Tampa Tribune, reports there is speculation that Arizona Cardinals RB Edgerrin James, who is expected to be released prior to the start of free agency, could join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. James has apparently told folks close to him that he'd like to return to Florida. Although the team has RB Earnest Graham as a workhorse starter, they're a little thin after that. James would give the team added depth as well as someone to push Graham a bit.

The guy has over 3600 touches in the NFL.  That's a whole lot of tread worn off the tires folks.  Edge is already on the wrong side of 30, and in case you've forgotten, remember how quickly Marshall Faulk, Priest Holmes, Corey Dillon and Shaun Alexander went from being All-Pro to not worth playing?
