I was looking around on a Browns message board and apparantly Winslow has the "knee of a 78 year old?" ? Anyone care to enlighten me?

He's had knee and leg injuries, but surely he has to pass the Bucs physical and if he can't pass it would void the trade.

He had some knee issues in the past when he had the motorcycle accident.  That being said, if the knee wasn't sound, the Bucs wouldn't have passed him on the physical if they felt there was any concern.

His knee hasn't been the issue since his rookie year I thought? He played in every game in 06/07. But missed most of 08 with a staph infection.

He injured his fibula in his rookie year (2004), didn't he? The knee injury was in 2005. Considering he has had two very productive years since the knee injury, I'm not too concerned. Getting him out of Cleveland might help his staph infection problem too. They've had something like seven players with staph infections in the past few years.

I think if you play for the Browns, its part of your contract that you must get a staph infection.
