Anytime you cut one RB, another two finish the season injured, and the other one is a ST return man and used sparingly at RB I think you have a need.    Not a bigger need than getting that DL stocked with talent and getting another CB but it's still a need.    As for not discarding Stovall or Jackson.....Stovall isn't even talked about as a WR outside of Bucs fans.  He's a ST player and a good one but that's it right now.   We'll see what kind of training camp he has.  Jackson is well...worthless at this point unless he found a heart, some guts, and a magical new pair of hands.

Yeah, I have to concur with the others, RB is a definite need. I would hate to go into the season with Graham, Peanut, and a wheel-less Caddy.

The plan folks is to bring in young, talented players who will impact the team not only this season but in the future.

Haynesworth would have filled that. So would have Boley and Vilma. K2 definitely fills that.

Again, RB is not a NEED. Could they use Ward's services? Of course. But not at the contract he wants right now. Just because the cap room is there doesn't mean it's okay to be fiscally irresponsible.

You have to plan for the worst with RB's.  They are the most likely to go down with an injury of any position on the team.  Say Graham goes down week 1.  Caddy isn't ready to return yet.  You have to throw Peanut back there full time.  Assuming he plays well, the return game goes to crap.

RB is a need.

Graham's 16 regular season starts (vs SF 2007, vs CAR 2008 when he was moved to FB excluded)
290 carries
1250 yards
4.3 ypc
10 TDs
58 rec
396 yards

Before both FBs went down he was averaging 5.9 ypc. And Cadillac isn't in a wheel chair like alot of you think. It was a 6-8 week injury.

we need a playmaker at RB, u know like the rest of the NFL...not that Graham isn't a good RB, he just can't maintain the load. There is certainly no flash in Graham's ground game.

I love EG.  He's my favorite player on the team.  It's not a knock on him at all, but you have a back-up plan at the RB position.  Unfortunately, Caddy has proven he can't hold up and you don't want your Pro Bowl returner having to be the full-time RB.

We will see if the team acquires another RB.

Graham doesn't have to be "Flashy" when he's stiff-arming the hell out of people.

If he could stay healthy all season long I'd love for him to be our feature back.

Im not bashing the guy I like Graham. But I just think that you need a big time playmaker at that position, like caddy was suppose to be, but we don't have one. It's not like he is Brandon Jacobs...now if we had Michael Bush and EG, then we have something.
