What makes anyone think that Derrick Ward is any good? What has he shown you in his limited time in NY? Has he shown anyone enough that they would really be interested in throwing away 5 or 6 million a season on this guy? He is almost 30...way to old for a free agent RB. Waste of money IMO.

I'd rather have Bush from the Raiders.

Limited tread, 230 pounds, can run, is shifty, and has limited tread.  Oh...I said that...

But honestly, if you have Smitty, Carnell, and Graham, why would you not risk it?

Me 2 for a Third round pick I would be ok with it.

Hes pretty good but he is older and I hadnt even heard of him before this year. He has been a nobody for 5+ years and he thinks hes worth 15 million, I just don't see why he is so much better than some other free agent rb's. I'd rather have Cedric Benson than Ward.

Suh or bust, Dom. You make the call.

running backs should be drafted.  they have short careers and get old fast.

I would rather have Michael Bush, however Ward would be worth looking into, great combo of speed and size and has limited use even though he is 29. If Michael Bush becomes too expensive then I would go ahead and ink him.

Bush > Ward, IMO

He's younger, and to me, has shown more homerun threat and talent.

1000 yds
5.6 yards per carry
limited tread
good size/speed

I like Bush too

I think Bush is better as well. I just dont understand some of these posters saying why are we leaving Ward out there in FA lets go get him, guy was an undrafted free agent. Like 3 yrs ago.

Either one would be a great fit IMO.  Bush would cost us another pick, though.
