Here is Ward's 08 stats; pretty nice for someone who was in a shared/backup type role. And let's not forget that he did rush for 198 yards in one game this year when Jacobs was out that day.

Have caddy and graham split carries..and have ward fight for a spot in training camp

LMAO! That is both the funniest and dumbest thing I've heard in weeks!!

whoa whoa whoa tough guy.   You asked me to take it easy on you after you said you wanted the Bucs to sign Warner to back up Luke McCown and also thought getting Ray Lewis should be a must do.   You said everyone makes mistakes and say dumb things.....now you go off on that guy for saying what he did?

Who would've known all it would take is one signing to make some of the negative ninnies turn positive.

Ward's getting 6 million guaranteed in the 1st year. You don't guarantee that sort of money to a guy who will be fighting for a spot. That's starter money.

I liked Gru ok, but, HATE his version of the WCO.

I felt confident that they'd get Ward.  With Ward, Bryant, Clayton, and K2, I'm REALLY excited we'll be a tough, running team that takes shots down the field.

I just checked a few of the Giants message boards and they have nothing but good things to say about him.  Most sound like they will miss him and appreciate what he did there.  That is always good news.

For those who like such things, Ward stacked up very nicely last season in FOs stats.  He finished the season #4 in DYAR and #2 in DVOA.

Clayton was a victim of Gruden's doghouse and severely limited in opportunities.

Clayton was hampered by Clayton.
Yep, whatever Sparky said seems like something that the bust himself would say.
