Could Amobi Okoye be the under tackle that the Bucs need. This guy has great upside. He is only 20 years old.
And keeping in mind it takes most players a few years to excel in the tampa 2 this player seems to be perfect for Tampa. If I remember correctly it took Sapp a year before he got comfortable in the under tackle.

This Okoye guy could be huge in the pros he even has chicken legs just like sapp did

If he's Warren Sapp II then sure, where we are is the right place to draft him but if people thought he was Warren Sapp II he'd be projected to be selected where we are picking.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

All the more reason to trade down...

I was at home today and got to watch some of the Senior bowl practice. The kid is definitely special. He indeed reminded me a lot of Sapp in his prime and he's NINETEEN! He's got a vicious spin move, speed, and strength.

I don't think I'd take him as high as 3 or 4 but if the Bucs do trade down...I'd be all for this kid.

BPA for us at the time we pick.  If there is a possibility of a trade down I'm all for it. There is a shortage of great DT's in this league so even if you just get an extra 3rd do it.

No Defensive player is worthy of a Top 3-4 selection in this draft.

He is 6'2"  287lbs.  If you watched any of the senior bowl practices you would see he is an ideal UT.

as was noted on another senior bowl thread, scouts have expressed disappointment at his weight (287 or 295 depending on your source) which is approx 20 lbs less then what the scouts expected.  I hope many of these teams that thought he was a NT pass him up because that is the ideal size for a 1 gap undertackle (just what we need).

The thing that jumps out in my mind is that he tested into the 9th grade - at 12 years old. Warren Sapp - besides being a beast physically, has a good head on his shoulders for a DT. So does Derrick BRooks - and you need brains to play in teh COver 2

Okoye is the best one gap DT in the draft and anyone that doesn't think that Okoye can play UT is a moron...
