Ok, two games into the Gradkowski era and we have had a couple of batted passes.

Today the batted ball was when the O-line was pushed right into Grads's face and he couldn't do anything about it.  Last week he had one batted by a blitzing defender who was in his face, so again not really his fault.

So why can a 6'1" Gradkowski get the ball over the line, when a 6'4" Simms had major problems with it?

It's obvious.  Simms is too mechanical (and predictable), too slow in his reads, and too slow in his release once he decides where to go.  Defenses learned that all you have to do is time is throw and he'll throw it right into your hands.

Wow....you are a little sensitive.  Griese got plenty of stick when he was in and after he got injured.  The bottom line is when your D is number one in the NFL you win games.  Simms had a couple of exciting 4th quarter come backs, but he was nothing special in this offense.

I just wish we could transplant Simms's arm onto Gradkowski.........the we would have SuperQB.

Im alittle too sensitive? Yet you resort to expletives? Everyone knows that this offense was not set up for simms to succeed. This offense plays right to bruce's strengths, thats been obvious.

Simms should never have been drafted for this offense, fact.  Gurden didn't want him and he was tired of trying to make the O fit Simms.
