Per Rotoworld and St. Pete Times...

  Karl Paymah-DB-Broncos Mar. 6 - 3:50 pm et

Free agent CB Karl Paymah will visit with the Bucs this weekend.

He's also visiting with the Vikes. Paymah would upgrade the Bucs' special teams and provide depth at corner after Phillip Buchanon's exit.

Don't forget this guy was a third round draft pick.

He ran a 4.35 at the NFL Combine. He has serious jets.

Here is a pre-draft breakdown of the guy

Positives: Has good size, playing speed, strength and athletic ability for the position. Displays a smooth backpedal with good breaking and closing ability on the ball...has the quickness and agility to turn and run with the reciever...has the ability to accelerate on the deep ball. Shows good vision and reaction to plays in front of him. Has the strength and size to press the receievers at the line of scrimmage. Has the body control and balance to recover on the move and good quickness to string plays out.

Will support the run and make tackles, Has decent man coverage skills, but lacks good awareness in zone coverage

What year was he drafted?

Was one of the FA cbs that I thought would at least be interesting is 6'0" 195 and only 26. If Morris and Bates could coach him up like when Pbuc first
got to Tampa guy just may be decent. He also plays a little safety.

\\\"The guy who invented the first wheel was an idiot, the guy who invented the other three, he was a genius

More and more special teams are playing a part in a team's overall success, particularly if you can limit the return yardage. I'm all for shoring up ST.

Seems like he has a busy schedule ahead...

Free agent CB Karl Paymah has added the Browns to his itinerary.

Paymah has already visited the Broncos and is set to meet with the Bucs and Vikes this weekend. The reserve corner and special teams ace will head to Cleveland on Monday.

Bly was garbage.  But yea, I don't know of many who would beat out Champ Baily for a starting spot.

Seen this guy play living in Colorado, he's not anything special. Good ST player, but we are better off hoping Elbert Mack makes a contribution to the secondary than signing Paymah.

He would be depth behind Mack.

Him coming in wouldn't jeopardize Mack's role on the defense in anyway.

Raheem and our coaching staff are obviously looking for good material to develop.
I agree; he can back up Mack this year, who did get on the field with our D some last year, and looked good. Paymah with that speed would definitely help on ST. ST's can win a few ball games; hope we haven't forgotten Geno Hayes blocked kick already  :o.
