They have them at most Mcdonalds here in Jacksonville, Fl.
I've seen them but have not used them...How does the system work?Do you have to be some kind of a member to rent one?
how recent are the movies?
I'm curious to know if vending machines that rent DVDs for $1.00 a day are everywhere. We have them in and around the grocery stores in eastern Pa.. I haven't really taken notice, but I believe they are around other businesses as well. This has to have an adverse ripple effect on PPV at home and the stores that rent these same DVDs for 3 or 4 times that much. Are they available where you live, and does anyone know how long they have been in operation?

You rent with a credit card, which is billed $0.99. When you return the DVD, it charges you $0.99 per day you had it (less the original $0.99). You can return it to any kiosk, even in another state (great for travellers).
