With the 3rd pick in the draft.  :o (fliping coin)   [banghead] or the fourth pick in the draft If Johnson (WR Georia Tech) is available. Could the Bucs pass on him for a trade or another player.

This guy Johnson is a freak and he is realy realy good.
the problem for me is that he is a WR.
A wide reciever is only as good as your QB.
Your QB is as only as good as your OL
A lot depends on others to be able to get your wide out invloved in the game.

4th pick for WR  [banghead] Clayton is a bad memory here  [banghead] what do we do

I'd have no problem passing on him.

We might pass him up to draft Joe Thomas.  After that I doubt it.  I don't think we'd trade down when the best player in the draft is available and fills a position of need.

As it has been said many times before, it doesn't matter how good a WR is if the O-line doesn't provide enough time for the QB to let the route develop...however that being said, if JT is off the board and CJ's still there, you can't pass him up...

With 30 million to spend in FA you draft the best player available. Calvin is the best football player in the draft. You tell me, Would you pass on the best football player in the draft?  I wouldn't.

What free agent would have the same potential as johnson

I know it is easier to get a free agent WR then it is a LT. Or is Johnson potential to high like a Marvin Harris or a Moss

We might regret it if we dont, our defense needs to improve, but so does our offense

I say a HELL no to Joe Thomas, i dont like the way he looks, I would honestly rather get Levi Brown, but in the position we pick in, CJ will be the best option

You have to draft Calvin Johnson. Joe Thomas will be gone by the 3rd or 4th pick

I think Houston was smart to pass on Bush

From a money stand point or player wise?

Both.  I don't think Bush was worth a #1 overall pick.  Honestly, I think the Sants should have gone with Hawk as well.  Don't get me wrong, I think he's a solid player with a lot of talent, but I think a RB has to be pretty special to warrant a top-10 pick (I have the same opinion of WRs, especially in an offense like ours).

So if Thomas is gone do go with CJ or do you trade down and go defense?
