If Denver trades Cutler they're going to want a QB in return. Cleveland is in the best position of any potential suitors to offer that. Let's not forget McDaniels' connection with Charlie Weis.

It's been rumored for weeks now Mankok's not that big a fan of him or Anderson. Cleveland's current regime had no hand in drafting or signing either guy. They may not be interested in dealing Quinn, but if they can get Cutler by parting with Anderson or Quinn you bet they'll do it.

With QBs, it matters less about performance and more about the name.  He is an established name who hasn't had enough opportunities to be labeled as a bust.

I am talking trade value.  A 1st round guy with a stellar college career is going to draw more interest than another young one who played at a lower tier school in college, was drafted in a late round and also hasn't been a starter but played a bit more in a back up role.  This is a fact.
