Hilliard did a good job yesterday.  Nothing flashy, but he was solid and made a good play on the short punt and caught it so it couldn't hit the ground and possibly go further down the field.

The problem as I see it is I don't think JG wants to risk him or Galloway doing punt returns.  The roles they play are more important to him on the offense.  Although they have other receivers the one thing that has been stated is how reliable Hilliard is at getting to the sticks and making the clutch reception to get first downs.  And there is no one on the team that makes the other teams defense pucker up like Galloway does.  His speed has to be accounted for on every play.  If Clayton is returning to his rookie form and yesterday was a breakout game for him and not just a flash, then JG might be more receptive to keeping Ike as the returner.

Truths:
1.  Never have an argument with an idiot.  They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
2.  For some it would be better if they remained silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt.

I thought Hilliard did good. But, I'd still rather see Karl "the truth" Williams out there again.

Karl was my guy and the last guy to take one to the house I might add...

Without Carl Nix it feels like our running game just took a death blow to the face!

Joey ran one back in 2004 against the Saints.

Yes.  Yes he did.

I would not mind seeing Joey G. back there.  Extend hsi role a bit.

Has the staff been fielding Stovall on punts during practice?  We need to find a way to get this guy on the field.

That's because it happened so quickly, that you didn't have the time.

Got to love 34 year old speed merchants.  I know I do.
