Interesting that Peria Jerry was talked about earlier on as our guy but not once here.

If we get him trade Barber get a 3rd maybe a 2nd

lol. I don't think we select a CB two years in a row. I'm guessing we are drafting DT.

Peria Jerry is a 1-gap penetrator which *was* a perfect fit for the Tampa 2.  The Bates system calls for 2-gap space eaters.

Shoot if Brown is on the board you take him in a heartbeat best pass rusher coming out.

Only think is that I worry about he reminds me a lot of Gholston with Brown being only 6'1 256

If we want to take a risk on a tweener I say we go with Big Johnson at 6'7 266

Brian Orakpo is close to Gholston than Brown.

My BAP draft board at 19 looks like this...

1. Rey Maualuga (dude is an absolute beast. guy you can build a defense around)
2. Everette Brown (awesome speed off the edge)
3. Percy Harvin (gamechanging playmaker pure and simple)

Players I stay away from due to relatively low college production are: Michael Johnson, Robert Ayers, and Josh Freeman.

Who we would pick and who we could pick are two different things. Over half of these players won't be available at the 19th pick.

Draft A: Michael Oher OT - I would be shocked if this team passed over him for another player in that scenario.

Draft B: Perria Jerry DT (Hood is a possibility).

Draft C: Michael Oher

John Galt?

In all 3 scenarios Freeman, Harvin, and Maclin or DHB are available, so I'd try my damnest to trade down with NYG, Seattle, KC, NYJ (they don't grab a QB in any of those mocks), Jax, Oakland, or some other WR starved or QB starved team. Then use the lower pick on English, Hood, Brace, Vontae Davis (but NOT Ayers), depending on who is left.

Then we have extra pick(s) for CB, LB, WR, etc.

A:Michael Johnson

B:Brian Cushing

C:Jeremy Maclin

Any of those players would be great

19 - among the available players are: OT Michael Oher, OT Eben Britton, OT William Beatty, C Alex Mack, C Max Unger, RB Chris Wells, RB Donald Brown, WR Percy Harvin, WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR Hakeem Nicks, WR Kenny Britt, QB Josh Freeman, DT Ziggy Hood, DT Ron Brace, DE Everette Brown, DE Michael Johnson, DE Robert Ayers, OLB Brian Cushing, OLB Clay Matthews, OLB Connor Barwin, OLB Larry English, OLB Clint Sintim, ILB Rey Maualuga, ILB James Laurinaitis, CB Vontae Davis, CB Darius Butler, CB Alphonso Smith, CB DJ Moore, SS Patrick Chung, FS Louis Delmas

My decision here would be between Oher, Harvin, Everett Brown, or trade down.

I'd take Brown.

I'd take Harvin if a profitable trade isn't available.

Without seeing a private workout from Oher, I'd have to take Harvin.  If Oher is impressive in his workout and I think he will be my Franchise OT, I'd take Oher.
