Oak selects J Russel
Det selects B. Quinn
TB wins coin toss  and gets Joe Thomas/OT
Clevland selects A. Branch
Arizona selects Gaines Adams

Tampa Bay then trades M. Clayton, Brian Kelly and their second 2nd round pick to Washington for the 6th pick and Tampa selcts Calvin Johnson/WR.

Tampa selects Victor Abiamiri/DE with the 36th pick.

Tampa selects Eric Weddle/FS with the 67th pick.

Tampa offers next years 2nd Round pick to San Fran and acquires a mid 3rd round pick to select Kyle Young/C

Tampa selects Sabby Piscitelli/SS with the 103rd pick (4th round)

PS:  Before anyone crucifies me since I didn't take an UT/NG and traded away our CB....Tampa previously traded Simeon Rice to Det for Shaun Rodgers and acquired Nate Clements in Free Agency.

NOW, THAT'S IDEAL!!!!!

Darn.........wasn't looking to start WW III...it was meant to answer the title of the thread.....Best day 1 Scenario!

For what its worth, I'd be happy with JT or CJ, although I'm a believer that a better line sustains drives, keeps the defense fresh and will improve both the run and passing game.  As far as the trade with Washington, it was done for several reasons:  1) they have only one Day 1 pick; 2) no one between us and Wash needs a receiver and by going w/ JT @ #3 we could actually move into Wash's spot.  They need help @ WR, CB and DL.  If we grabbed CJ, I see no use for M80 so he's expendable.  BK isn't healthy and wants more money.  Heck, I'd possibly offer next year's 1st Rounder and M80 to get their pick.  Getting the best player in the draft and a bookend LT is one draft is ideal to me.

Also, Rice to Det for their 2nd or for Shaun Rodgers is realistic and has been addressed by PR.  Acquiring a mid 3rd Round is not unusual or difficult to get the best Center in the draft.

Karen, my message was intended to create a response...don't take it personally.  I think many on this board view M80 as an average receiver that can be replaced and we might as well try to get something for kelly, who is more than likely over due to a chronic injury or salary concerns.

2. Carriker DE

ITS A DREAM DAY 1 THO THATS FOR SURE

With Okoye expected to be go around 10th overall it would be nearly impossible to make that trade work.

If its a dream you may as well switch Troy Smith for Russell.  ;D

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Thanks. A lot of people on here like Le'Ron McClain so I guess he's as good as any. Also, if the staff sees Okoye, Adams or Anderson as a multi-pro bowler, I'll support him over Thomas.
