It is very sad

But RBs over the age of 28 on the free agent market have lost an incredible amount of value the past 2-3 years. I think it is in part due to an influx of plug-and-go RBs coming out of nowhere and succeeding for very cheap, and the going rate for established RBs being so costly

He is not a finesse back though.

 Garcia, Hilliard, Galloway, Dunn, my God, none of these guys are starters anywhere else.  And yes, Dunn's about as finesse as you can get for a back.

He's a great guy but his pass blocking became suspect last year.   Allen and Gruden gave him his last contract.

Last season Shawn Alexander was cut by the Seahawks in April. Nobody would even give him the time of day until October when the Redskins signed him (to replace the injured Ladell Betts).

Dunn will be signed sometime during the pre-season. Even though he's older, he has more value than most RBs because of his receiving skills.

Too many interesting prospects in the draft to tie yourself to a veteran like Dunn yet. He'll sign somewhere after the daft.
