Was his contract a little overboard?  Yea...but you know what...we have the cap space...and I rather that we overpay a good player then sit on the money.

It doesn't now but in a few years when his salary starts kicking in at $8-9 million/ year and we are having to pay big money to our entire offensive line, I could easily see the Bucs having cap problems again.

there are teams with FAR more talent,  ELITE talent, than us that are able to manage the cap just fine
