The whole Gruden won with Dungy's team is the worse argument ever!  If I remember correctly we played OAKLAND which would have been "GRUDEN'S" team.  

Had Gruden stayed with Oakland, I have no doubt the Raiders would have won the superbowl that year.   It was Gruden's year to win a ring regardless.

I also think the Broncos got the better end of the deal. The drop from Cutler to Orton will hurt, but having 2 extra 1sts, and a 3rd, can do wonders for the real problem of that team, the defense.

IMO, the jury is still out on the K2 trade. Firstly, it wasn't a need position. Secondly, I'd have made him play at least one season here before handing him $20 mil guaranteed.

TE wasn't a need position, but in the BPA strategy, the risk/reward of K2 will be better than any player available in the 50's.

A SB win does not guarantee a lifetime contract, but to fire him for a secondary coach, come on.

Point is people are quick to point out the picks we didn't have while neglecting to mention the high picks we did have.... that were garbage picks.

Point is everyone misses on picks ... point is that they're magnified when you give up 6 high ones over a 4 or 5 year period when you should be restocking the cupboard ... Gru/Allen made plenty of good picks/moves here, but the detractors are quick to point out the misses.
