He has a similar story like Elbert Mack he was over shadowed by Delmas.

7 Picks at western Mich.

The Bucs have been VERY, VERY high on him this offseason. We had him in our final version of the mock draft going to Tampa Bay in the seventh round (the actual pick, IIRC). The Bucs think this guy can be another Elbert Mack - a real sleeper in the draft that can develop into a really good pro.

I think he's gonna be the next Deion Sanders myself or be cut after pre-season, but definitely one of the two.

yeah.... he's fast. yawn. so what. Im sure he was fast in high school too, but the best he could do was Western Michigan because he's a lousy CB. he can sit on the bench with Jackson and they can run sprints together

Great attitude.  Everyone knows ALL players from small schools are crappy.  That's a fool proof statement!!

He was picked in the 7th round for God's sake.  And he had offers from BCS schools coming out of HS, he said he chose Western Michigan for playing time (4 year starter) and the relationship he had with the coaches during the recruiting process.

But either way...it is a 7th round pick.  Is this your first year watching the draft or something?  good lord.

It's funny how so many people on this board mistake their own ignorance and lack of knowledge to be someone else's lack of talent or ability.

7 Picks at western Mich.

How's that possible?  I thought everyone at smaller schools are there because they suck.

Seven picks?  Might be an indication that he has good hands.

i cant find ANYTHING on this guy...  I think Carolina took the CB we were going to get, right before us.     7th round is a waste anyway, but I would have picked the RB from Liberty and give him a shot.

can't please anyone sometimes ...

It's the 7th fricken round ... nobody said he was a superstar.

The brief reading i've done, he sounds like a good kid and I'll be pulling for him ... because afterall, he's a BUC and the better he does, the better we'll be.

Exactly.

No one is saying he's a future Pro Bowler.  Just don't shat all over a pick before you even know who he is...

More to the point how did they get 7 players drafted and lose 4 games and finish 3rd in the MAC?

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

im not knocking the guy, but he's lucky to be picked in the 7th round.  if he didnt run a 4.3, he'd be fighting to be a walk-on for the Detroit Lions.
