Who the hell made the decision to draft Marquis Cooper?

The logical choice IMO would have been Demorrio Williams. He's faster, has better bulk, and played for Nebraska which not only is a bigger prospect school than Washington, but it's also Kiffin's Alma Mater isn't it?

I'm not usually one to go with the hindsight thingy but C'mon...

Im gonna take a stab here and say..............Bruce Allen and Jon Gruden............but thats just a guess

No, actually Gruden wanted to draft Brian Westbrook at the spot that we chose Marquise Walker, but McKay decided on drafting Walker.

Cooper was a bad pick, but things like this happen.  They went light, and fast.  They got Small, and incapable.
