I am definitely excited. For many reasons. We get to see a guy that has a much better chance to be a franchise QB than anything we have had in last 20 years, we are going to wear the oranges again and we are going to see a lot of new players on defense and on offense. Plus we will be rid of a non-threatening offensive gameplan that no opponent respected or feared.

Either way you look at it
in 2-3 years when we are done rebuilding he will be 31.
yeah season starts in September so by then he will be 29. Either way you look at it, in 2-3 years when we are done rebuilding he will be 31.

The fact is he will be 29 when the season starts.

Too bad you didn't say that when you made your point instead of exaggerating and being incorrect. Another fact is there is little to no difference between Michael Turner and Derrick Ward when they signed with their new teams.Michael Turner Pre-Falcons - 228 attempts, 1257 yards, 5.51 ypc, and 6 TD's (In 4 seasons) 11 receptions, 71 yards, 6.45 ypr, and 0 TD'sDerrick Ward Pre-Bucs - 342 attempts, 1750 yards, 5.12 ypc, and 5 TD's (In 3 seasons) 69 receptions, 576 yards, 8.34 ypr, and 1 TDNot much difference, if anything, when talking about the running game. Ward has a clear advantage in the receiving game.Ward is only 18 months older than Turner, but you just keep on whining away like a prepubescent girl.
And there are drafts and free agency every year. It's weird I know
