My sources tell me that the we have been in heavy negotions with the bills for this trade. The only thing that might be a problem is that Clements is asking for big money. If we can make the numbers work then he will be a Buc.

The numbers could work, the question is how high does he want to go.  How old is Clements and what are his measurables?

Clements is in line for a HUGE payday at the end of the year; that's why they want to unload him.

Two things that make this trade plausible:

1. Kelly might need surgery to fix the degenerative toe problem. Surgery would spell the end of his season.

2. The Bills put John McCargo, DT on IR recently so they have depth issues at DT.

I don't know how high he wants to go, but he wants a big payday. Clements is only 26. I know one thing, if we get him we won't have to question our self on if we are wasting a roster spot on a punt returner.

Wouldn't mind seeing Nate, but Booger, his lack of performance, and his huge contract are major factors in all of this.  It won't be straight up, that is for sure.  What will the Bucs throw in?  A fourth rounder?  A fifth?  Another player?
