Biggs - you're clearly biased by the numbers.

You're completely ignoring the huge "Iwantittobeso" factor.

right now McNabb is better than Rivers

(In 2008)

Rivers: 34 TD, 11 Int, 4,009 yards with a 105.5 rating.
McNabb: 23 TD, 11 Int, 3,916 yards with a 86.4 rating.

Try again. After all, "facts can't be disputed" a wise man once said.

And Rivers was yet again better than McNabb in 2009.

Rivers: 28 TD, 9 Int, 4,254 yards with a 104.4 rating
McNabb: 22 TD, 10 Int, 3,553 yards with a 92.9 rating

And yet again... McNabb is still better than Rivers.

Just because you drink a gallon-sized jug of Hater-ade when it comes to McNabb, it doesn't mean he's not a top 5 QB in the NFL.

McNabb is good, but not top 5.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Peyton, Brady, Brees would be in the top 5... who else before you get to McNabb?

Saying McNabb isn't better than Rivers isn't Haterade, chief.  It's a fact, backed up by literally every statistic that measures QB's.  Your opinion isn't fact.

Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers, Tony Romo, and Ben Roethlisberger are no-doubters.  I could make an argument for a couple others, but I won't.

It's ludicrous to put McNabb as a top 5 QB.  If you said Top 10, I wouldn't give you much an argument because he has the credentials to back that billing up.

What's the measuring stick here? Stats or Rings?

McNabb isn't a top 5 QB.  Frankly, even top 10 is generous.

And that's with the benefit of a pass-whacky offense

I disagree with every one of those guys.  Sorry if I need more than 2 years to put someone on a pedestal.

Rivers and Romo have been starting for 4 years and Roethlisberger for 6.

And if Aaron Rodgers average of 4,236 yards, 29 TD, 10 Int, and 98.5 QB rating over two years hasn't sold you on his ability, then why keep pimping McNabb's 3,735 yards, 22.5 TD, 10.5 Int, and 89.65 QB rating over the same period?  Craziness.

Numbers... just numbers.  McNabb TOOK.... yes, HE took (not the defense... though it did help), 5 INFERIOR teams to a conference championship and 1 to a Super Bowl.  How many has INFERIOR teams has Rivers, Ben, Rogers, and Romo taken?  ZERO?  Yeah, that's what I thought.  McNabb is Top 5.

Yeah, it's a shame when those silly "fact" thingamajiggers get in the way of an inferior opinion.

Denial sucks.
