Numbers... just numbers.  McNabb TOOK.... yes, HE took (not the defense... though it did help), 5 INFERIOR teams to a conference championship and 1 to a Super Bowl.  How many has INFERIOR teams has Rivers, Ben, Rogers, and Romo taken?  ZERO?  Yeah, that's what I thought.  McNabb is Top 5.

What do you mean INFERIOR? The Eagles won the NFC East 2001-2004 and 2006 and had 1st round byes 2002-2004. Three of those conference championship games were at home. They weren't #6 seeds.

Yeah, that was all McNabb, defense played a small role only.

You guys apparently just look at boxscores and highlights when it comes to Eagles games.  Without those McNabb, those teams would have at BEST been 8-8... most likely were 6 win teams.  He made them a contender.  That's why I say he took inferior teams to championship levels.  That's why they got beat also.  At some point you are going to come up against a team you just aren't good enough to beat.

None of this is proof to your opinion that McNabb is a top 5 QB.  Actually, most of it is purely conjecture.

Again, here are McNabb's career average (in a passing offense) rankings amongst the other NFL QBs:

Rivers: 34 TD, 11 Int, 4,009 yards with a 105.5 rating.
McNabb: 23 TD, 11 Int, 3,916 yards with a 86.4 rating.

Try again. After all, "facts can't be disputed" a wise man once said.

And Rivers was yet again better than McNabb in 2009.

Rivers: 28 TD, 9 Int, 4,254 yards with a 104.4 rating
McNabb: 22 TD, 10 Int, 3,553 yards with a 92.9 rating

And yet again... McNabb is still better than Rivers.

How about now?  Is three years of completely outperforming McNabb enough evidence for you, or does your denial run that deep?

Rivers:  30 TD, 13 Int, 4,710 yards with a 101.8 rating
McNabb:  14 TD, 15 Int, 3,377 yards with a 77.1 rating
