That's the most ridiculously dumb thing i've ever heard.

Explain to me how this helps them play QB or helps the team AT ALL??

Some of you guys just think it's cool b/c Raheem did it.. Raheem could slap a nun in the face with a double ender and some of you guys would support it without a doubt.

LMAO!

They're getting him ready to play LB or safety.

What a joke...maybe they should practice on throwing the football and making reads.

yeah because Morris definitely doesn't have them doing that. Quarterbacks need to be strong too, and hitting the sled will help them gain leg strength. Plus, I feel if the one part of the team has to do something, the rest should too.

So when do they all line up to kick and punt?  Everyone laughs at the kickers but I'd like to see some of the other guys try. The whole of the offensive line would be comedy gold.

Funny thing is, he's got good technique...  Nice punch, good extension, sinks his hips, drives his feet....  Well done....  Dude is a significant upgrade to our D-line, day one...  I'd be willing to bet my house and cars that Free would make a better NFL DT then Dre Moore......

If I had to guess, this is more of a team building type drill.  The whole team is crowded around loving it.  McCown is right the next to him too, competing, trying his damnedest LOL...

First off, is Rah a nick name (or pet name) that you fans have given him?  Anyway "Rah" should have Freeman's azz cracking the books instead of the sled. For a franchise QB that all experts on the NFLN questioned his decision making, you would think learning and bookwork is what he needs. ...Unless they soon realized that they made a very bad decision and are trying to convert him to another position. Or maybe not.

It HAS to be shorter than this freakin' offseason.  The Natives are restless.

Time for some Buccaneer football.

It isn't unique.  Other coaches have done it.  Of course, they aren't currently employed anymore...

It's a really dumb idea.

How can you not like this guy:

It's funny that as a DB's coach he was the best thing since sliced bread, but now as a head coach he's the worst coach ever.

You mean this guy?

There's a big difference between being db coach and being head coach.

What if Raw said "hey adw, get over here and give me a knob job?"   Would you jump to it?

I would delegate that task to one of my minions actually.

Didn't see it, but aren't these practices done with no pads per the agreement with the players union? Wouldn't make a lot of sense to me to have someone hitting the blocking sled hard with their shoulders and arms when they use those to play QB. But, who knows.

Guess they will probably need to learn how to wrap up and finish a tackle also since they are going to be throwing a lot of INTs this year.  Maybe this will help them prevent half the pick 6s

Go bandwagon the Patriots you stupid **CENSORED**

Maybe it hasn't crossed anyones mind yet, but on a reverse, doesn't the QB need to be able to block someone? A-la, the way Brett Favre used to.

Hitting the sled once in a while doesn't seem like a bad idea if that's one of the reasons.  Sure you can get leg strength in the weight room, but you can't learn to block or to use good technique in there...
