So in other words what if he is Clayton or Stovall, in which case I would pass on him.
We have had about 4 6-3+ guys that run 4.5+. How many in here wanted MW because of him film and size? look at him now.
No, he is nothing like Clayton or BMW. He is 6'5 and runs a good forty for a guy that size. BMW was fat, slow, and lazy. CJ is the opposite of that.

i think if his 40 time and height are good i wouldnt put much into the weight. he will gain plenty coming into the nfl just look at vince young. also i think that the stat im most interested in seeing is if that amazing vert is right

I've read somwhere that it's supposed to be 48" which I just don't believe.  That's higher that 99% of the NBA.  I think it was a typo and is maybe 38", which is still amazing.  That's still better than 80% of the NBA.

CJ is a great wideout, we all have seen his vert, I don't need to see a measurement.  The kid can go up and get it, and he is physical, no-quit type of player.  He runs clean routes, he has the baility to adjust to the ball (bad ball catcher), and he can block effectively to help the run game.

no ive heard repeatedly that his vertical was around 45" but ive heard anywhere from 43" to 50" and i seriously doubt that he has a 50"

45 seconds is his vertical.  1:48 is his long jump

45 seconds is his vertical.  1:48 is his long jump

That just means he's probably the best jump ball WR EVER.

Tell me about it.  6'5" with a 45" vertical is Michael Jordan stuff.

There's another team that has a Johnson for a WR that everyone considers a freak and all-world class player.

They spent the offseason at home too.

What team and player are you talking about?  No  matter what you say I'm going to laugh.  Fair warning.

Texans, Andre Johnson
